WindowGard will, in line with its contract with Foreign Affairs, install Energy Absorbing Blast Windows for one of the overseas Embassies.

Forced Entry Resistant Window - Door Systems

The WindowGard Defender productline of windows, doors, curtainwalls and fences are multi-protection products. All products can withstand:
Blast, Ballistic and Forced Entry threats combined in one product or upon request, can be designed for one or more of the above threats.

WindowGard can incorporate Blast, Ballistic and Forced Entry protection in new and existing construction as well as in landmark and historic buildings.

TESTING & COMPLIANCE

Over the years WindowGard's Defender has conducted hundreds of hours of blast tests under a variety of conditions, including open-air, live, and full scale blast testing. WindowGard collaborates with government agencies, private blast consultants, and engineers to meet standards and building codes in a number of industries.

WindowGard's Defender products have been involved in the following testing programs:

Testing allows WindowGard to develop new products, to meet standards from government and industry, to qualify its products, and to generate a reliable database of testing information. WindowGards's windows are suitable for buildings retrofitted to resist blast loads when designed according to accepted codes, standards, and design guidelines.
